IQRA HOUSE USAGE POLICY

Members of the Khumbar Community are eligible to make bookings at Iqra house

  • Bookings made for general community use (gatherings/Naats) will not be chargeable
  • Bookings made which are related to a bereavement will not be chargeable
  • Bookings made for any private function will be chargeable:
    • The fee is £50
    • Each booking cannot exceed 2 days
    • This amount is to be paid prior to use or during key pick up
  • The individual who makes the booking is responsible for cleaning IQRA House to a good standard before leaving the property.
  • Bookings are subject to fair usage of Iqra house, please be mindful of this especially during holidays and religious occasion.
  • Under no circumstances can anything be left at Iqra house, any unwanted goods cannot be left or given to Iqra house without approval from the Trustees or Committee members, the space is the most valuable commodity at Iqra house, we would like to preserve this.

How To Make A Booking

  • Bookings can be make by contacting one of the following people, who will add a booking to the Iqra house calendar on your behalf:
    • Farah Majothi
    • Saira Boliya
    • Fayaaz Tayab
  • Alternatively, send an email to info@mkct.org clearly stating your full name and date of use, please be aware that bookings will only be accepted using this method once a reply has been received confirming the booking has been made.
  • The booking individual is responsible for paying the £50 usage fee, which is payable prior to commencement of use.
  • The booking individual is responsible for ensuring the fee is paid:
    • payment can be made by cash to members of the ladies group who will pass it onto their Treasurer.
    • Alternatively, the fee can be paid via online banking to the MKCT bank account, details:
      • Bank: HSBC

      • Sortcode: 404508
      • Account No: 52005395
      • Important: Only make payment once your booking as been confirmed.
  • Once a booking has been confirmed, it will be made publicly available in the Iqra house Booking Calendar.
  • It is the booking individual’s responsibility to collect the keys prior to use and to lock up and return the keys back to the key holder.

This policy is subject to adjustment if the need arrises.
